Happy New Year! QuickBlox looks ahead to 2022

After the festivities of the holiday season it’s not always easy to get back to business in the New Year. But the team at QuickBlox are excited about the year ahead and are busy gearing up to make 2022 the best year yet for the company. As QuickBlox continues to grow, we have some exciting plans in place for our products and services. We’d like to share a snapshot here of our roadmap ahead:

Update client-side SDKs

We are dedicated to maintaining high performance real-time communication software, so we will continue to update our client-side SDKs throughout the year.

New Code samples

Soc 2 / ISO 27001 certification

QuickBlox is committed to ensuring high standards of security and compliance across our platform for all of our customers.

Mobile App versions of Q-Consultation

While our teleconsultation App, Q-Consultation, is already available for web & mobile browsers, there will be app versions available soon.

Q-Health / Q-Finance / Q-HR

We are expanding the functionality of Q-Consultation to support more industry specific versions. For enterprise customers working in healthcare, banking and finance, or HR and recruitment who require a secure ready-to-go chat and video calling app for your industry please get in touch.

Outreach to the developer community

We understand that developers are the lifeblood of our company and that’s why we continue in our efforts to connect with this community. For this year we plan to:

• Continue to update and expand on our documentation.
• Develop new code samples, including a new Flutter video conferencing sample soon to be released.
• Set up a dedicated developer forum to provide resources and real-time engagement.
• Produce new how-to tutorials as well as update older ones so that we provide easy and clear guidelines on how to use our SDKs, APIs, and code samples.

Q-Stream

QuickBlox is an innovative company that is responsive to our customer needs and we recognise a growing demand in the market for real-time communication via streaming.

Consequently, we will soon be launching Q-Stream a white-label app which allows users to stream their camera while other users can view and chat in public or private rooms. The app currently ‘plugs’ into Xenforo, one of the world’s largest forum sites and will shortly be available for all web platforms.

Our new ready solution for streaming can be used for any number of use cases – dating & social networking, education, commerce and others. … watch this space!
